Audition or Volunteer

Participation in Apollo Civic Theatre productions is open to all. If you're interested in working backstage or in learning more about the non-acting activities of community theatre, please call or E-mail us. "Techies" are also welcome to attend auditions and introduce themselves.

The director will schedule two or more audition sessions and will often set a date for a Callback, in case it is needed to complete the casting.

Planning for your audition: Select a song that you feel best displays your voice, and prepare a selection of 16 measures. Bring music or CD for accompaniment.

Dance/Movement: The choreographer will have the auditionees move on stage, depending of the requirements of the role(s) they are auditioning for.

More specific role requirements will be available at auditions.

REHEARSALS are primarily held at the Apollo Theatre. Directions are here. A tentative schedule will be available at auditions.

Please check back about two weeks prior to the announced dates to confirm the schedule. Latest information will also be included in an email newsletter. Use the link at the left to sign up.
